The method for extracting rhodium, ruthenium and palladium from nitric acid solutions with a concentration of nitric acid up to 5.0 mol/dm3 includes the addition of a soluble iron(III) salt and potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) to the said nitric acid solution in quantities providing a molar ratio of hexacyanoferrate(II):Fe3+:ΣΜΠΓ=2:2:1, where hexacyanoferrate(II) is potassium or sodium hexacyanoferrate(II), Fe3+ is the soluble salt of iron(III), ΣΜΠΓ is the sum of the extracted platinum group metals. ;EFFECT: method makes it possible to simplify the extraction of rhodium, ruthenium, palladium from nitric acid solutions with a concentration of nitric acid up to 5.0 mol/dm3 with an increase in the degree of their extraction. ;3 cl, 5 tbl, 5 ex
