To efficient excavate the bottom of the mine and collection of cutting chips in deep excavation.SOLUTION: A deep excavation device 1 is provided with a cylinder in which a plurality of segments 2 are connected in a ring shape and segment rings 3 are vertically connected by a staggered set or a square joint. A drill pipe 20 is inserted into a plurality of casing pipes 12 mounted on each segment 2 of the cylinder, and a drill bit 21 is fixed to the tip protruding from the cylinder to excavate the ground. Muddy water is supplied into the drill pipe 20 and ejected from a nozzle of the drill bit 21 to carry the mixture with the cutting chips onto the ground through a riser pipe 22 between the casing pipe 12 and the drill pipe 20. Deep excavation is performed by excavating and agitating the ground on the tip side of a blade edge ring 16 at the tip of the cylinder 4 with the drill bit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
