To provide Cordyceps sinensis strain CS-100 and uses thereof for treating or preventing diseases associated with abnormal proteins in nerve cells.SOLUTION: The present invention discloses a novel Cordyceps sinensis strain CS-100, deposited on July 7, 2017 in China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center under CGMCC Accession Number 14350. The Cordyceps sinensis strain CS-100 can, not only effectively and specifically inhibit the accumulation of QN1 protein and/or TDP-43 protein in nerve cells, but also promote the synaptic regeneration, thereby achieving effective treatment or amelioration of diseases associated with abnormal proteins in nerve cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
