摘要

To provide a practical estimation method of characteristic period for a structure having been subjected to an earthquake motion, and a determination method of earthquake resistance of the structure using a characteristic period estimated thereby.SOLUTION: Disclosed estimation method of structure characteristic period includes the steps of: calculating characteristic period, characteristic vector, and characteristic matrix by using a subspace method from a piece of acceleration data acquired by acceleration sensors which are installed at multiple positions in the height direction of a structure subject to an earthquake (S210); calculating a stimulus coefficient by using the characteristic vector and the characteristic matrix (S220); and determining whether or not to select a primary characteristic period of the structure after having been subjected to the earthquake from the characteristic period by using the stimulus coefficient (S240).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
