According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for providing a recommended route, performed by a server storing an electronic chart making and route recommendation program, is (a) a terrain including an acoustic altimeter including a gyro sensor and a laser light source in an ocean surveying vessel installing a measuring system to simultaneously measure the depth of water and the coastal topography of the area to be investigated, and correcting the surveyed water depth and coastal topography data according to the operation information of the ocean surveying vessel collected from the gyro sensor; (b) converting the corrected water depth data and coastal terrain data into three-dimensional coordinate data composed of a latitude value, a longitude value, and a water depth value using a preset coordinate transformation system; (c) estimating second coordinate data for a specific point located inside the triangle by using at least three pieces of first coordinate data constituting a triangle among the three-dimensional coordinate data; (d) generating an electronic chart of the survey target area by adding the numerical topographic map data provided by the National Geographical Information Service to the three-dimensional coordinate data and the estimated second coordinate data; and (e) providing a user interface including the generated electronic chart to a ship terminal and determining a recommended route when receiving departure and arrival location information from the ship terminal and providing it to the ship terminal. .
