PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method utilizing high fidelity continuous respiratory volume monitoring for rapid patient evaluation. SOLUTION: A step of acquiring patient breathing data, SpO2 data and treatment data from at least one patient sensor, a step of outputting a visualization of a patient's respiratory state to a display device, and a predetermined step in variability of SpO2 data.
