Disclosed are an energy-independent sludge resource circulation system and method. A sludge treatment system according to an aspect of the present invention includes a thermal hydrolysis device for thermally hydrolyzing excess sludge, a digester for digesting raw sludge and thermally hydrolyzed surplus sludge, and dewatering the sludge discharged from the digester. It includes a sludge dehydrator and a sludge dryer for drying the sludge discharged from the sludge dehydrator, and the biogas generated in the digester is supplied to the thermal hydrolysis device and the sludge dryer.
