PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive wave-driven upwelling pump for promoting vertical vertical water circulation in a sea area or a lake. The present invention has a structure in which a connecting body 4, an upwelling pipe 2 in water, and a valve body 1 are connected to a floating body 5 on a water surface that repeatedly moves up and down by waves. By making the valve body 1 larger than the outer diameter of the upwelling pipe 2, the water flow pressure outside the upwelling pipe 2 can be used for opening and closing the valve body 1, and as a result, the valve body can be moved slightly up and down by the floating body 5.
