Systems and methods for reducing fat are provided, wherein a cold solution is administered to a subject together with one or more additional modalities. The cold solution comprises liquid water and/or solid ice particles, and optionally comprises one or more additives. The one or more modalities include energy, including thermal, radiant, chemical, electrical and/or mechanical energy, surgery, including liposuction, nutrition and/or wellness, exercise, self-optimization, chemical treatments and/or biological treatments. The one or more modalities may be administered separately, or in combination with the cold solution.
