The present invention provides a process for extracting nickel hydroxide from saprolite ore containing nickel through hydrochloric acid, and pyrolysis of magnesium chloride hydrate in the poor solution remaining in the extraction process to recover hydrochloric acid so that it can be reused in the extraction process of nickel hydroxide. One, it relates to a process for extracting nickel hydroxide from nickel saprolite ore, including a process for recovering hydrochloric acid through thermal decomposition of magnesium chloride hydrate. A first step of preparing for input as; A second step of pulverizing the saprolite ore and magnesium chloride into a grinder to a particle size of 100 to 200㎛; a third step of introducing the hydrochloric acid into a reaction tank as a mixture of the crushed saprolite ore, magnesium chloride, and leaching solution, and supplying heat to achieve leaching by hydrochloric acid; a fourth step of sequentially separating the main compounds by adding a sedimenting agent and a pH adjusting agent to the saprolite ore, magnesium chloride and hydrochloric acid mixture; and a fifth step of drying the nickel hydroxide leached through the third and fourth steps.
