The present invention provides a process for extracting nickel hydroxide from saprolite ore containing nickel through hydrochloric acid, and pyrolysis of magnesium chloride hydrate in the poor solution remaining in the extraction process to recover hydrochloric acid so that it can be reused in the extraction process of nickel hydroxide.
