A method of manufacturing a composite part having a curved or radiused corner 14 to avoid wrinkling or bridging of outer-most composite plies during consolidation and cure, includes laying up composite material on male or female mould tooling to form two flanges 16,18 extending at a first angle relative to each other with the corner extending between the two flanges. Then the orientation of one or both of the flanges of the flanges is changed so that the two flanges extend at a second included angle relative to each other. The second included angle is smaller than the first angle. The method includes consolidating the composite material.
