The invention relates to biotechnology, more particularly to genetic engineering, and makes it possible to produce a mammalian cell line harbouring an artificial human chromosome which can be used to detect previously unidentified genes which are involved in the processes of human chromosome replication and segregation, and to search for drug candidates which potentially cause chromosomal instability. The claimed test-system for determining the degree of chromosomal instability on the basis of a mammalian cell line comprises an artificial chromosome harbouring genes of recombinant fluorescent proteins with CDT1 and GEMININ sequences having a cell cycle indicator function. The use of the proposed test-system makes it possible to perform quick screening of anti-tumour drug candidates which cause chromosomal instability, and to search for genes which control chromosome transmission.
