A structural vibration mode testing system and method based on digital image recognition. The structural vibration mode testing system based on digital image recognition comprises a camera (1), targets (2), a bridge (3), a vertical acceleration sensor (4), and a transverse acceleration sensor (5); the camera (1) is mounted at a position of the bridge (3) near the bridgehead; several targets (2) are equidistantly mounted on the inner sides of guardrails on two sides of the bridge (3), respectively; the vertical acceleration sensor (4) and the transverse acceleration sensor (5) are fixedly mounted on the camera (1). According to the structural vibration mode testing system based on digital image recognition, arrangement of a large number of sensors and complex wiring are avoided in bridge (3) vibration detection, time and economic costs are saved, operation is convenient, precision is high, and wide application prospects are achieved.
