According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for managing charge and discharge of an energy storage system (ESS) group for voltage stabilization of a system to which a distributed power supply is connected, in a power management device, is provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the voltage of a system, to which a distributed power supply is connected, is controlled to be decreased through charge of an ESS group; the voltage of the system, to which the distributed power supply is connected, is controlled to be increased through discharge of the ESS group; and when the voltage of the system, to which the distributed power supply is connected, is stabilized, a voltage adjustment amount is calculated through the amount of charge and discharge for each ESS group, and performance incentives for voltage stabilization are provided according to the voltage adjustment amount. Therefore, the present invention can manage an ESS in group units and provide incentives for each group, and thus not only manage the charge and discharge of the ESS, but also easily control the voltage of a system to which a distributed power supply is connected.
