The present invention relates to an indicator material for selection of varieties of Korean ginseng and a method for selection of varieties of Korean ginseng using the same. It is provided as an indicator material for the use of Korean ginseng, and for products sold in the form of Korean ginseng, it is possible to determine whether or not it is Korean ginseng by separating and purifying the active ingredient without using the conventional molecular biological method.
