To provide a radiation shielding body for a used fuel storage container and a storing method in the used fuel storage container at a used fuel storage facility, capable of shielding the radiation from the used fuel storage container without excessively expecting a radiation shielding function when the used fuel storage container is used for storing at the used fuel storage facility.SOLUTION: When the used fuel storage container is used for storing at the used fuel storage facility, the radiation shielding body is additionally installed on a top part of the used fuel storage container so as to be movable relative to the used fuel storage container in the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
