RLF METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING A HANDOVER REPORT AND AN RLF REPORT

A method for transmitting a handover report and transmitting a radio link failure (RLF) report is provided. The method includes obtaining, by a target base station, at least one of location information of a user terminal (UE) history cell or location information of a source cell during a handover procedure, and the obtained location information of a UE history cell or location information of a source cell sending, by the target base station, a handover report to at least one of a base station or a source base station in which the UE history cell is located, according to at least one of: an unnecessary handover report, an premature handover report; or a handover report to the wrong cell.
