The embodiment discloses a harmful streaming image detection method in a smart device that plays a streaming image received from a streaming server. A harmful streaming image detection method in a smart device includes the steps of sequentially extracting image frames from streaming images, examining whether the extracted image frames are harmful based on a pre-trained neural network model, and depending on whether the image frames are harmful and selectively blocking playback of the streaming video.
