The present invention relates to a regeneration catalyst for a carbon dioxide absorbent. When the MAX phases material according to the present invention is used as a regeneration catalyst, the regeneration efficiency of the conventional alkanolamine-based absorbent is remarkably high. It is expected that the overall energy consumption can be greatly reduced, and a low regeneration temperature is also possible, thereby preventing the recovered carbon dioxide from being contaminated with moisture and absorbent vapor.
