The present invention relates to a broadband circularly polarized antenna, comprising a square-shaped printed board, a patch positioned on the printed board, a patch having opposing vertices cut in a triangular shape, and a feed hole formed therein; and a metasurface array formed in a lattice structure around the patch on a substrate. According to the present invention, the proposed planar antenna having a single layer for 5G millimeter wave correspondence provides the advantage of a metasurface and has the effect of having high gain and wideband characteristics.
