Wireless power transmission is used with lighting such as light emitting diode (LED) bulbs or lighting fixtures that use existing electrical wiring infrastructure. For example, a lighting device is provided such that when the lighting device is coupled to the electrical wiring infrastructure, the wireless power transmitter is coupled to receive electrical operating power via the lighting device.
