The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for enhancing the anticancer effect of an immune checkpoint inhibitor, including as an active ingredient using a glutamine transporter inhibitor, wherein the composition according to the present invention exhibits the activity of T cells in the anticancer action by the immune checkpoint inhibitor. By increasing and increasing the infiltration response of T cells in the tumor, it is possible to significantly enhance the anticancer effect. Therefore, the composition of the present invention can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition for treating various cancer patients, including cancer patients who do not show a therapeutic effect by only administering the conventional immune checkpoint inhibitor alone.
