The present application discloses a trajectory monitoring-based shared vehicle monitoring method, which can be implemented in smart cities. Said method comprises: receiving a vehicle usage request sent by a user terminal by scanning a vehicle two-dimensional code; acquiring a corresponding enterprise identifier according to a vehicle identifier of the vehicle two-dimensional code, and performing authentication on user information according to the enterprise identifier; after authentication is passed, sending a vehicle usage instruction to a target vehicle corresponding to the vehicle identifier, so that the target vehicle unlocks the target vehicle according to the vehicle usage instruction; acquiring position information of the target vehicle according to a preset frequency, generating trajectory record information of the target vehicle according to the position information, and performing marking on an electronic map according to the trajectory record information, so as to generate a travel trajectory; and monitoring a vehicle usage state according to the travel trajectory, and when it is detected that the target vehicle has gone beyond a corresponding target vehicle usage region or exhibits an abnormal vehicle usage behaviour, sending early-warning prompt information to the user terminal and a monitoring terminal. The usage of said method can effectively increase the efficiency of monitoring shared vehicles.
