An action restoration method based on skeleton key points, applied to robot action generation in the mechanical field or the action recognition field. The method comprises: obtaining a coordinate position of a first skeleton key point, mapped on a target plane, of a target object in a three-dimensional space (S401); determining one or more curves taking the first skeleton key point as a central point on the target plane, the coordinate position of each point on the curves corresponding to one or more pieces of angle information of a second skeleton key point in the three-dimensional space (S402); determining a target curve to which the second skeleton key point belongs according to the coordinate position of the second skeleton key point mapped to the target plane (S403); and determining the spatial position of the second skeleton key point according to the coordinate position of the second skeleton key point and the target curve (S404). According to the method, the action of the target object is restored by means of a related robot effectively according to a two-dimensional plane image and space angle information.
