Provided are a microfiber which exhibits favorable spreading properties and produces little formaldehyde and acetaldehyde, and a fiber molded body which uses said microfibers and a method for producing the same. A method according to the present invention for producing a fiber molded body which includes the molding of a fiber mixture, wherein the fiber mixture contains microfibers, the microfiber content in the fiber mixture is at least 5 mass%, the microfibers exhibit an oil adhesion amount of 0.1-1 mass%, the total production of ethylene oxide units and propylene oxide units amounts to 0.01-0.5 mass%, and the single fiber fineness thereof is 0.01-0.5 dtex.
