摘要
Disclosed are cancer targeting compositions, kits and methods for treating cancer cells overexpressing the somatostatin receptor. The composition comprises a radioisotope, a chelator and a targeting moiety. Chelators include nitrogen ring structures such as tetraazacyclododecane, triazacyclononane, and/or tetraazabicyclo [6.6.2] hexadecane derivatives. The targeting moiety includes a somatostatin receptor targeting peptide. Somatostatin receptor targeting peptides include octreotide derivatives. The targeting moiety is chelated to the radioisotope by a chelator, whereby the cancer cells are targeted for clearance. [Representative] Figure 1A
