In the case of components made from fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP), process-related impairments of the component's performance according to the state of the art arise, among other things, due to: inclusions (air, water, particles), inaccurate resin impregnation, inaccurate fiber orientation, fiber pretensioning. In order to minimize such defects in high-quality components made of FRP, the following measures are taken according to the state of the art: lamination in the clean room, consolidation under vacuum, consolidation in the autoclave. The aim of this invention is, beyond the state of the art, to address these process-related defects in the manufacture of the FRP component to a minimum.Solution of the problemThe component is manufactured according to the invention using a suitable, fully automated lamination process in an evacuated room.Application areaRotors for kinetic energy storage, pressure vessels
