The invention relates to a method for improved communication between a software client application - being loaded to or installed on a client computing device - and an application network backend, using a telecommunications network,wherein the client computing device receives a plurality of communication messages (400, 401) using an established or common messaging service within the telecommunications network and wherein the software client application and the client computing device are configured such that specific communication messages, being sent by the application network backend to the client computing device, are selectively provided to the software client application or selectively handled by the software client application,wherein the method comprises the following steps:-- in a first step, a reachability identifier information is defined or generated,-- in a second step, subsequent to the first step, a specific communication message, transmitted by the telecommunications network according to the established or common messaging service and initiated by the application network backend, is received by the client computing device, the specific communication message comprising the reachability identifier information,-- in a third step, subsequent to the second step, the reachability identifier information of the specific communication message is detected and the specific communication message selectively provided to the software client application or selectively handled by the software client application.
