The invention provides a green and environment-friendly bamboo wood mildew-proof method, and relates to the technical field of bamboo wood modification. The invention provides a bamboo mildew-proof method, which comprises the following steps: soaking the bamboo wood in an acid solution to obtain a reaction system; carrying out hydrolysis reaction on the reaction system to obtain a hydrolysate; washing and drying the hydrolysate in sequence to obtain the mildew-proof bamboo wood; the acid solution is an inorganic acid solution or an organic acid solution; the mass concentration of the inorganic acid solution is 0.5-8%; the mass concentration of the organic acid solution is 2-40%. The invention adopts inorganic acid solution or organic acid solution to treat bamboo, utilizes hydrolysis reaction to reduce the starch content in the bamboo, reduces the dependence of mildew fungus on carbon source which takes starch as main nutrient substance, and achieves the purpose of inhibiting the mildew of the bamboo.
