A tower, in particular a tower foundation system for an onshore wind turbine, is preferably formed by a dowel made of precast concrete and has a hollow structure and a partially embedded central shaft, a fully embedded and substantially flat lower slab, and preferably completely and transverse support means in the form of inclined struts that are embedded and engage the lower slab with its lower end and a central shaft with its upper end.
