To provide a multivariable inverse analysis method which conducts an inverse analysis per each parameter in an inverse analysis of an event represented by a plurality of parameters.SOLUTION: A multivariable inverse analysis method 10 is employed in a method for evaluating effects of soil purification for reduction of concentration of contaminants toward underground water WG in an inside of an underground soil 32, wherein water-pouring from a water-pouring well 36 to an inside of an underground soil 32 and on/off of pumping of an underground water WG from a pumping well 34 are conducted repeatedly at a prescribed interval along with obtaining a temperature TT of the underground soil 32 in a section to be purified and an observation data MD of a concentration DS of a contaminant toward an underground water WG. A plurality of parameters influencing effects of soil purification are respectively identified by extraction and inverse analysis of kinds of observation data MD and observation time zone TZ1-TZ5 where influence of one parameter becomes larger than other parameter in the observation data MD.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
