The present invention relates to an on-vehicle power system having a power converter (SR), windings of an electrical machine (W1 to W3), and a triangular switch group (D1 to D3). The electrical machine is connected to the power converter SR, where DC external connections DC +, DC- are provided. The triangular switch groups D1 to D3 connect windings in a triangular configuration. At least one switch D1 of the triangular switch group further connects at least one alternating current (AC) connection part A1 of the power converter SR to the DC external connection parts DC+, DC-. The configuration controller C1 has a function of actuating the triangular switch group D1 to D3, on the one hand, operating the triangular switch group in the driving state in the closed state or in the open state according to the configuration specification. When energy is transferred through the DC external connection, at least one switch D1 of the triangular switch group is actuated by the configuration controller according to the closed switching state.
