A method of decoding a polar-coded signal by a decoding system, wherein a plurality of information bits from a transmission system, a plurality of CRC bits inserted at positions determined based on the number of information bits and a total code length, are polar-coded signals and decodes a code section including a position from the first bit of the signal to the position where the last bit of the first CRC is inserted. Depending on whether the CRC is detected in the decoded code section, it is determined whether to perform the chain inversion decoding on the code section again or to decode the next code section adjacent to the decoded code section.
