The present invention relates to a smart window system that can automatically open or close a window to improve indoor environmental conditions, and the smart window system according to the present invention comprises: window frames installed on the walls of the building; windows installed inside the sash; a transfer means installed on a side wall of the lower end of the window frame to automatically open and close the window; a window opening/closing detection unit installed on the window frame and the window to detect whether the window is opened or closed; a window opening and closing amount detection unit installed at the lower end of the window frame to detect the opening and closing amount of the window; an outdoor environment sensing unit installed on an outdoor wall of the window to detect an outdoor environmental condition of the window; an indoor environment sensing unit installed on an indoor wall of the window to detect an indoor environmental condition of the window; and a control unit for controlling the smart window system.
