The present invention relates to an apparatus for providing a reading management service and a method therefor. An apparatus for providing a reading management service according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a reading information library and a server database in which a user information library is stored; a server memory in which the reading management program is stored; and a server processor configured to store the program stored in the memory, wherein the server processor stores, in the database, user information received from an external user terminal according to the execution of the reading management program; storing the user reading information received from the external user terminal in the database; and transmitting the user reading information stored in the database to the user terminal at the user's request.
