PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight key exchange system at high speed, a key exchange method and a key exchange program.;SOLUTION: A key exchange system 1 in which a start node 10 and an answer node 20 execute a key exchange protocol including matrix operation comprises calculation units 111 and 211 for calculating a transposed matrix of the product of a transposed matrix of a first matrix by a second matrix as the product of a third matrix by a transposed matrix of a fourth matrix. The third matrix corresponds to a transposed matrix of the second matrix and is generated based on a random value independently of the second matrix.
