To provide a household change estimation system capable of automatically and accurately estimating a relocation.SOLUTION: On a sidewall of a washroom 11 in a building 10, a vital sensor 22 that detects the body motion of a person standing in front of a washstand 21 is provided. On the ceiling of the washroom 11, a distance measuring sensor 23 that detects the height of the person standing in front of the washstand 21 is provided. The sensors 22 and 23 record detection results in a detection history storage area 32b. In a user information storage area 32a, user information of residents and visitors is recorded based on the detection results of the sensors 22 and 23 thus far. For each detection from the sensors 22 and 23 on one day, a controller 30 specifies whether the detected person is a household resident or a visitor based on the user information. When predetermined conditions are satisfied, the controller estimates that the household that was estimated as a resident has moved and that a particular resident is another household that resides in the building 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
