[Problem] To provide a recommended running pace calculating system capable of calculating a recommended running pace for a distance run, recommended for a runner being judged. [Solution] A recommended running pace calculating system 100 according to the present invention is provided with: a correspondence relationship storage means 21 for storing a first correspondence relationship, which is a correspondence relationship between a running distance and the fastest running pace run by an unspecified multiple number of runners; a running pace acquiring means 11 for acquiring the running pace for each prescribed sector of a distance run having a prescribed distance, run by the runner being judged; a correcting means 22 for extracting the fastest running pace from the running paces of the runner being judged for each prescribed sector, and correcting the running pace of the runner being judged for each prescribed sector on the basis of the extracted fastest running pace and the first correspondence relationship; and a recommended running pace calculating means 23 for calculating the recommended running pace for the distance run, recommended for the runner being judged, on the basis of the corrected running pace of the runner being judged, for each prescribed sector.
