The present invention relates to a DNA construct for teratoma removal comprising an antibiotic resistance gene, and a method for fundamentally blocking teratoma formation by removing undifferentiated cells through the use of the DNA construct. More specifically, the present invention relates to a promoter that is specifically activated in differentiated cells, a DNA construct for teratoma removal comprising an antibiotic resistance gene linked to the promoter, and a method for blocking teratoma formation by removing undifferentiated cells through the use of the DNA construct. The present invention can maintain the viability and functions of differentiated cells unchanged without affecting differentiated cardiomyocytes at all, by selectively killing only undifferentiated stem cells causative of teratoma formation, and thus eliminates the possibility of tumor formation when applied as a cell therapeutic agent, thereby showing an effect of securing stability.
