To provide a body shape data conversion apparatus, a body shape data conversion method, and a program capable of converting a surface structure of shape data obtained by a shape measurement device into a structure to which movement data is applicable, without impairing the dimensional accuracy.SOLUTION: The body shape conversion apparatus: acquires digitized shape data obtained by a shape measurement device; labels the digitized shape data according to the body site measured by the shape measurement device; stores the resolution of the digitized shape data; converts the labeled digitized shape data into voxel data on the basis of a voxel particle size; extracts a body surface landmark from the voxel data and registers the landmark; merges the voxel data on the basis of the body surface landmark; applies retopology on the merged data on the basis of retopology detailing; and performs skinning on the data applied with retopology.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
