Problem to be able to measure the umbilical cord length during ultrasonic testing.The first and second interest areas 62 and 64 are set so as to include the first and second ends of the attentional blood vessel running in the umbilical belt 56.A template indicating the fluctuation of the pulsation at the first end is generated from the change in the luminance information in the first interest area 62.A graph showing fluctuation of the pulsation at the second end is generated from the change in the luminance information in the second interest area 64.The movement time of the blood is calculated by specifying the portion in which the template coincides with the graph.The umbilical cord length is estimated by multiplying the moving time by the mean velocity.Diagram
