The present invention relates to the technical field of coal separating based on dry-method dense medium fluidized beds, and disclosed is a dry-method dense medium fluidized bed-based separator intelligent control method. The method comprises the following steps: supplying air by a fan to fluidize a bed layer; estimating an initial density of the bed layer according to a raw coal washability curve; measuring the content of a magnetic material of the bed layer, obtaining a real-time density of the bed layer, and adjusting the density of the bed layer according to a deviation analysis result with an initial density value; adjusting a medium addition amount and a scraper discharging speed in a separating process to maintain the stability of the height of the bed layer; separating raw coal in a separator to obtain a clean coal product; measuring ash content of the clean coal product, comparing the ash content with target ash content, and adjusting the density of the bed layer if a difference between the ash content of the product and the target ash content exceeds an anticipation. According to the present invention, the medium addition amount and the scraper discharging speed in the separating process can be adjusted, the stability of the height of the bed layer is maintained, a separating density is adjusted according to properties of the raw coal and the product, and the advantage of a high level of intelligence is achieved.
