The charging method comprises: when it is detected that Bluetooth earphones are placed in a charging case, acquiring current electric quantity information of the Bluetooth earphones; determining the number of Bluetooth earphones according to the current electric quantity information; if the number of Bluetooth earphones is two, calculating an electric quantity difference value and a total required charging quantity according to a first current electric quantity and a second current electric quantity in the current electric quantity information; and acquiring a rechargeable electric quantity of the charging case, comparing the rechargeable electric quantity with the total required charging quantity and the electric quantity difference value, and charging the Bluetooth earphones according to a comparison result. The present invention can achieve reasonable distribution of electric energy of a charging case, and improve the overall energy efficiency of a Bluetooth earphone system.
