Video load balancing system for P2P server network

摘要

The present invention relates to a live video balancing system comprising a P2P server network. Each server in such a server network communicates with the rest of the servers and monitors the corresponding performance criteria of the dedicated server in the server network to define hosting capacity for the dedicated server. The hosting capacity is communicated with the remaining servers, such servers having corresponding hosting from the monitoring servers to determine a potential hosting server having the first hosting capacity and the remaining servers having the second hosting capacity. Dosages are evaluated collaboratively. In response to the hosting request, a potential hosting server is placed for communication with an image capturing device delivering a live video feed. Such a hosting server deploys an image capturing device in selective communication with a potential hosting server to deliver a live video feed to a customer terminal to define an active hosting server.
