This disclosure describes systems, procedures and devices that relate to a distributed relay.The distributed relay can use beam forming and/or a special physical arrangement of transmitting and receiving antennas to ensure high insulation between antennas.The distributed relay can also allow the simultaneous operation of two different interfrequency (IF) chains to support communications between a network entity and a user device, receiving and transmitting data independently on each of the two IF chains.
