A functionally enhanced solution for contactless operation of a door 4 of a laundry room 3 is provided for an aircraft 2.The functional extension concerns an exchange of information between an external body 22 and a control 7 to control the opening, closing, locking and/or unlocking of the door 4.A control and information system is proposed for this purpose.comprising a door actuator 5, which can be controlled by the control 7, for opening and closing door 4 and a lock actuator 6, which can be controlled by the control 7, for locking and unlocking door 4.The control and information system 1 shall comprise at least one sensor device 12a, 12b to detect a trigger action 18a, 18b of a user 15a, 15b of door 4 and to transmit the trigger action 18a, 18b as a trigger signal 19a, 19b to the control device 7.It is also at least one man-machine interface 10,11 of the control and information system 1 for the exchange of input information 23 of the external body 22 and of output information 24 of the control body 7.
