Methods shall be provided for the validation of the coupling performance, in which a coupon is produced from a raw material by bending the coupling in such a way that a pair of legs is arranged at an angle of essentially ninety degrees.Another coupon is produced by forming an opening into a segment of another commodity and bending the segment around 90 degrees.The segment is placed next to an end of the second raw material.A test sample is produced by assembling the coupons on a connection,where a leg is attached approximately in the middle of the thigh to the segment.The test sample shall be subjected to a force test to generate data for the performance evaluation.
