A borosilicate glass according to the present invention is characterized by having a glass composition comprising, in mol%, 20 to 40% of SiO2, 25 to 45% of B2O3, 3 to 15% of CaO, 5 to 30% of SrO+BaO+ZnO, 0 to 6% of ZrO2, 0 to 8% of Al2O3 and 0 to 1% of CuO, wherein the (SiO2+CaO)/(B2O3+SrO+BaO+ZnO) molar ratio is greater than 0.50.
