An improved syndicated data system and method providing a plurality of intelligent devices with syndicated vendor-independent data from a syndication data server having informational data that is supplier-independent, formatting the received informational data into syndicated data messages, creating syndicated data channels, transmitting by broadcasting over a point-to-multipoint non-addressed transport bearer channel, with the devices monitoring the received point-to-multipoint non-addressed transport bearer channels of the different syndicated channel transport networks, identifying a received channel by comparing to the stored message or channel selection criteria to the received channel or IoT message contained therein, successful reading the syndicated data messages within the received syndicated channel, extracting the supplier-independent informational data from the syndicated data message and providing the extracted syndicated informational data to an installed vendor specific syndicated data application.
