Various embodiments provide an electronic device and a method, the electronic device comprising a memory; a communication unit; a display; and a processor functionally connected to the memory, the communication unit, or the display, wherein the processor is configured to identify log information associated with a notification received through the communication unit, determine a display order of the notification based on the log information, and display the notification on the display based on the determined display order.
